As promised, the Graduate Level Community-Engaged Learning Seminar Steering Committee and McCarthy Center are committed to offering continuing opportunities to bring faculty and community partners together to discuss community-engaged teaching and learning.
We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting the first ever Faculty and Community Partner Spring Book Club. We hope you will join us!
The featured book for this spring is Research Methods for Community Change by Randy Stoecker.
The book club will meet twice over dinner and wine, 5:30-7:30PM at USF in Fromm 111, on the following MONDAY dates: April 14 and 28.
In preparation for each session, we will assign the page numbers and some guiding questions to help you think about emergent themes and practical implications for your work. At our dinner gatherings, we will loosely frame the conversation around the guiding questions, but the hope is that dialogues will evolve organically in ways that are meaningful to participants.
