Solving Social Impact Challenges with Data Science

Speaker: Paul Duan

With data science, we’re able to build increasingly complex systems at scale that not only provide insights but also are able to offer actionable predictions. If the tech sector is using data science to break open consumer and enterprise markets, we have to ask ourselves: why haven’t we seen the same disruption in solving social challenges? Come hear Bayes Impact's Chief Scientist Paul Duan talk about how our fellows are using data science to solve the world's toughest problems.

Paul Duan is the Chief Scientist at Bayes Impact. Formerly lead data scientist at Eventbrite, he has been profiled in the Wall Street Journal, Kaggle, and Healthcare Data Consortium.
