Death of a Holy Land

The Department of Theology and Religious Studies invites you to a brown-bag lunch discussion: Death of a Holy Land by Prof. Rose Levinson.

Prof. Levinson will be discussing her new book, Death of a Holy Land: Reflections in Contemporary Israeli Fiction. Contemporary Israeli authors provide a powerful lens for examining a troubled present-day Israel. The book critiques a country deeply ill-at-east with itself, its future uncertain in a changing world. This is an exciting opportunity to hear an author and USF professor speak about her very recent publication on a tumultuous subject.

Professor Levinson teaches courses relevant to Jewish identity in USF's Jewish Studies and Social Justice Program.

All attendees are encouraged to bring their lunches with them to this event.

Please contact Monica Doblado for any further information for this event, or 422-6601.
