The Mass of the Holy Spirit is a 450-year old tradition shared by Jesuit colleges and universities across the world. It provides our community the opportunity to pause for a moment of reflection and blessing at the beginning of a new academic year. People of all faiths or no religious beliefs are warmly welcome. USF President Paul Fitzgerald, SJ will preside and present the winners of the Fr. Pedro Arrupe, SJ and Spirit of St. Francis Student Awards.

Faculty are encouraged to participate in the academic procession. Please meet in the sacristy of the church (enter through the stairs at the base of the bell tower). Regalia will be available.

For more information, contact University Ministry at um@usfca.edu or 415-422-4463.

Attendees are invited to the community BBQ on Welsh Lawn sponsored by Student Leadership and Engagement immediately following the Mass.
