Listen to Our Stories: Illuminating Children's Rights through Oral History
In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, join us for Listen to Our Stories: Illuminating Children's Rights through Oral History, a free workshop with Voice of Witness on utilizing human rights-based oral history in the classroom to illuminate the rights of children.
At this event you will:
- Gain hands-on training with Voice of Witness for integrating human rights-based oral history curriculum.
- Explore Voice of Witness curriculum tools and student work samples from schools across the country.
- Hear presentations by Monisha Bajaj (Director of USF's MA in Human Rights Education) and Felisa Tibbitts (Founder of Human Rights Education Associates)
- Network among educators, activists, and programs interested in children's issues and human rights education.
