Please join the USF La Raza Law Students Association on Wednesday, February 27, from 5:30-6:20pm in room 101 for a "Latinos in the Law" panel discussion. This event will feature Latino attorneys in both the private and public sectors, including USF alumni. Four distinguished Latino attorneys will share their career paths and choices while also addressing how they deal with their gender and racial identities in the workplace. The panelists include:
--Manny Alvarez, Enforcement Attorney for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in San Francisco and the new President for San Francisco Law Raza Lawyers Association for 2013-2014.
--Laura Sanchez, Immigration Attorney for CARECEN
--Elisa M. Cervantes, Anti-trust and Securities Litigation Attorney at Bingham (USF alum)
--Alicia Valencia, Specializes in Workers Compensation Defense with Laughlin, Falbo, Levy & Moresi, LLP (USF alum)
