This year’s October Outreach – USF’s day of service – is going to be a One-Day Immersion with a focus on seeing San Francisco through the perspectives of underrepresented communities. This event will give the USF community the opportunity to engage, learn, and reflect on social justice issues effecting different underrepresented communities within San Francisco.
Sites this year includes: St. Vincent De Paul Homeless Shelter and Wellness Center, Refugee Transition, Habitat for Humanity, Veterans Hospital, and more. Student, faculty, and staff will meet at 7:30am on October 13th at the Gleeson Plaza before going their respected sites and will be back on campus at 1pm.
