J. Baird Callicott , environmental philosopher and author of many books and articles, including "Environmental Philosophy is Environmental Activism," will propose an earth ethic to update Leopold's classic Land Ethic for the age of climate change. Following the keynote address, a panel of student activists, from USF and other campuses, will discuss their experiences in the movement. The panel will be moderated by Sharon Smith, author of The Young Activist's Guide to Building a Green Movement and Changing the World.
