Jack Abramoff Speaks to USF

How to Fix a Corrupt Political System

Thursday, June 6 | 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
University of San Francisco
Lone Mountain, Room 100

You are invited to take part in this conversation with former lobbyist Jack Abramoff. In his only Bay Area appearance, Abramoff will share excerpts from his book, "Capitol Punishment: The Hard Truth about Washington Corruption from America’s Most Notorious Lobbyist," as well as thoughts on our corrupt political system, and how it can be fixed. Following his talk, he will take questions from the audience.

"Government is broken – because of unethical practices, compromised politicians and special interests and their lobbyists who use money to game the system. I look forward to speaking to the University of San Francisco about what I learned when I was on the inside of our corrupt political system, and how it can be fixed.” --Jack Abramoff

This event is hosted by the University of San Francisco Master of Public Affairs Program. Parking and refreshments will be provided.
