Dear Female Graduating Senior,
When the first Leaders Club of then-Germania Life Insurance Company was held in 1917, two women took their place among the company’s best. Clara D. Knight of Fargo, ND and Emma Beckmann of St. Louis, MO laid out a path that women have followed over the course of nearly 100 years. We now honor their legacy with the creation of Emma and Clara Day – a day dedicated to starting something meaningful for the women of Guardian.
Today, we want to celebrate the success of women in financial services and all industries and the meaningful impact they have made to the people they work with and the companies that they work for. This day is also about the future women of Guardian, and to encourage women to consider pursuing a meaningful career and to start something meaningful. According to a May 2013 Pew Research Study, four out of ten households with children have a woman as the primary breadwinner. They want the flexibility to meet both career and life goals on their own terms. And they want to be in control. What better opportunity for these women than the FR career?
We would like to invite you to come to our agency to celebrate the success of Emma and Clara and to recognize the successful women in financial services and in the Bay Area, as well as learn more about the financial representative opportunity at Guardian on Thursday, October 3, from 4:30-6:30 pm in our San Francisco office. Please join us for hors ‘d oeuvres , and to have a great time networking and sharing success stories with other women in our community. Please RSVP to Anna Ly, Recruiting Director, by September 27 either via email or phone, both listed below. You are welcome to invite any other women who are already or maybe interested in a career in financial services.
Thanks for your time and hope to see you on October 3!
