The Office of Multicultural Recruitment invites you to join our open forum about being an African American student here on campus. It is an open space to discuss any difficulties or concerns as well as triumphs. This is a safe environment for discussing different viewpoints on successes, challenges, and concerns, as well as an opportunity to build an even stronger community.
Allies of black students are more than welcome to attend, feel free to invite a friend for a great discussion. Vice Provost for Diversity Engagement and Community Outreach, Dr. Mary Wardell-Ghirarduzzi, and Vice Provost of Student Life, Dr. Peter Novak, will be in attendance to help support and facilitate the event.
If you have any questions about this event, please contact Sarah Toutant, Student Intern in the Office of Multicultural Recruitment.
