Queer CELASA  Presents: Anzalduan Bodies | Horizon of Queer Hybridity  by Robyn Henderson Espinoza

While Gloria Anzaldúa is recognized for her poetics, her spirituality, and Chicana feminist studies, the philosophical dimension of her contribution to queer theory is understudied.

Robyn Henderson-Espinoza, of University of Denver, introduces Anzaldúa as a poetical philosopher who used her process as a creative writer to work out a queer philosophy of difference and plurality.

Please feel free to bring your own lunch to this event.

Sponsored by the Center for Latino Studies in the Americas (CELASA), Latin American Studies, Theology and Religious Studies, Gender & Sexualities Studies, and Chican@/Latino Studies.
