Join the McLaren Scholars for our Monthly Speaker Series on October 17th from 7PM - 8:30 PM in McLaren 251. This month we are featuring Greg Crothers, CFP, CLTC, the Vice President of the SF Bay Area Insurance Agency. His talk is titled: "Life after College - What are the next steps I should take to prepare for my financial future?" Food will be provided.
Greg earned a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance and Accounting from Bentley University. Soon after graduation he moved to San Francisco and began working as a financial representative for MassMutual. In just a few years he built a very successful practice servicing the business and professional market. In addition to focusing on his own practice, in 2008 he became Disability Specialist for the San Francisco Bay Area Insurance Agency, helping over 100 Agents in the Bay Area provide disability insurance solutions to their clients. Additionally, he was a Managing Associate with MassMutual for four plus years, mentoring newer advisors on how to be successful in the financial services industry. In October of 2011, he became Vice President of the San Francisco Bay Area Insurance Agency, an agency of MassMutual.
He continues to focus his efforts on his private client group and building a team of financial professionals that he manages to become successful advisors.This speaker series was created as a way to enhance the academic learning and personal growth fostered in the classroom. This allows students the opportunity to augment their learning experience with engaging and through provoking speakers from the San Francisco Community.
