Dr. Solórzano will be sharing his latest writing and research on racial microaggressions, the covert everyday forms of systemic racism used to keep people in racial margins of society. In this talk, he will share insights on different types of racial microaggressions that racial minorities experience, the various contexts in which they occur, their effects on racial minorities, and how racial minorities respond to them. This event is part of the Chisme y Comida Latino students discussion series and is open to the campus community.
