The Department of Hospitality Management holds an annual Hospitality Industry Symposium in the spring 2013 will be the 23rd symposium. The Symposium reflects the practical, hospitality industry-oriented focus of the Hospitality Management Program with seminars, panel discussions and speakers on topics related to issues facing today’s industry and exploring future industry directions. The purpose of the Symposium is to give hospitality industry executives an opportunity to learn from the industry’s leading professionals. Additionally, the students majoring in hospitality management are able to join in the program as attendees and organizers of the event to give them “real world” experience and networking opportunities.
