Peace Corps offers an unparalleled opportunity to put your education, skills, and experience to work in one of 76 countries worldwide. Today, we have over 8,600 volunteers working with their host communities to create sustainable solutions in the following areas: education, environment, forestry, natural resources, agriculture, health, business, and youth and community development. Volunteers gain valuable hands-on international and foreign language experience during the 27 months they are abroad. Peace Corps service offers some excellent benefits: student loan deferral, full medical and dental coverage, a living stipend, 24 vacation days a year, graduate school opportunities, career services, and a readjustment allowance of $7,425 after two years of service.
