Women faculty of color continue to face daunting challenges on the road to tenure and beyond. Based upon their recent co-edited volumne, Presumed Incompetent: The Intersections of Race and Class for Women in Academia, Professors Angela Harris (UC Davis School of Law) and Carmen Gonzalez (Seattle University School of Law) will discuss persistent patterns of workplace bias as well as strategies to survive and thrive in academia.
