University of San Francisco Lecture SeriesPresented by the USF School of Management The lecture series presented by the School of Management invites leaders in social change to discuss their experiences with the USF community. The discussion expresses USF's commitment to social change, introducing leaders whose work have advanced social change at the institutional and community levels. Wednesday, Nov. 28 | 6:30 p.m.
Guest Speaker, Jane Pisano, Ph.D., has served as president and director of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County since November 2001. her top priorities are to oversee the transformation of the Museum's inside and outside spaces including renovations to the 1913 Building (the Museum's original home), 12 new galleries, five permanent exhibitions, the outdoor North Campus and a slate of new visitor amenities; to connect the visitor experience with the Museum's research, collections, programs and exhibitions, in order to realize its mission to inspire wonder, discovery and responsibility for our natural and cultural worlds; and to enhance the Museum's role as an essential civic resource where science outreach is accessible and fun. |
