Law Students for Reproductive Justice is excited to welcome Dr. Tracy Weitz of Core-Align to USF on April 2, 12:30, in room 100. Come hear the amazing and dynamic Dr. Weitz talk about the Reproductive Justice movement! Dr. Weitz will discuss where the RJ movement has been, where we are going, and most importantly, where we want to go. With examples from Todd Akin to Sandra Fluke, Dr. Weitz has advice on how to deal with the movement's anger fatigue. She gives powerful insight onto how any social justice movement should self-reflect and change in order to achieve its goals. This talk is pertinent to any social justice issue. LUNCH PROVIDED!
Tracy Weitz, PhD, MPA, is the Director of the Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health (ANSIRH), Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health, University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She is also a partner in the CoreAlign Initiative which is building a network of leaders working innovatively to change policies, culture and conditions that support all people's sexual and reproductive decisions
